Sway Performer Payout Terms
How combined performer earnings cash out to PayPal or Venmo through PayPal Payouts.
Stripe processes incoming customer card payments only. Captured performer amounts accumulate in one Sway earnings balance. Performer withdrawals use PayPal Payouts and never use a Stripe performer account.
- the available destinations in this release are a PayPal account email or a genuine Venmo recipient identified by Venmo handle, account email, or U.S. mobile number
- Sway encrypts the full recipient identifier at rest and shows only a masked preview after it is saved; payout and audit records do not contain the raw recipient
- the performer must review the masked destination before confirming because money sent to a valid but incorrect recipient may not be recoverable
- captured earnings accumulate across paid interactions; one combined cash-out creates one provider payout instead of one payout for every customer transaction
- the minimum cash-out is $10; before confirmation Sway shows the gross cash-out, PayPal’s configured payout fee, Sway payout markup of $0, and the estimated amount delivered
- the performer is never debited more than the disclosed payout fee; if PayPal reports a lower actual fee, the difference remains in the performer balance
- refunds, disputes, reversals, risk holds, insufficient funds, an unclaimed recipient, PayPal review, or compliance obligations may reduce the available balance or delay, fail, hold, return, or cancel a cash-out
- PayPal controls final delivery timing and recipient eligibility; a submitted payout is not described as paid until provider confirmation is recorded
- real cash-out remains unavailable until PayPal approves Sway for production Payouts, the business account is verified and funded, production credentials and webhooks are installed, and Sway’s versioned release switches are enabled
PayPal or Venmo recipients may need to sign in or claim a payment under PayPal’s rules. Sway does not promise a delivery speed that PayPal has not confirmed.
